Together we make a family

EYFS- Nursery & Reception 2022 - 2023

Mrs White

Welcome to Apple Class!

We are currently a mixed class of Nursery and Reception children aged 3-5years.

In Apple Class we recognise that children develop at their own pace and we carefully plan to meet individual needs. As a unit we value the children’s interests and ensure that learning is active, involving first hand experiences using cross-curricular topics that are set in meaningful contexts. Our aim is to improve the learning for all our children here at Crow Orchard and better prepare them for the move into year 1.

Our class value is CURISOITY.

Meet the team:

Mrs White - I am the EYFS Lead and class teacher. I work Monday-Wednesday and Friday. The wonderful Mrs Mason works with Apple Class every Thursday whilst I am out of class.

Mrs Fitzsimons – Is our fabulous Learning Facilitator who works in Apple Class every day.

Mrs Seddon – Is our amazing Nursery Learning Facilitator who works in Apple Class every day from 9am-12pm.

Mrs Heath - Is with us every morning delivering phase 1 phonics to Nursery.

Collectively we are a dedicated team of Early Years and Foundation Stage (EYFS) practitioners who provide a range of bespoke opportunities for your child to develop into curious and confident independent learners.
