Mrs Heath
Teacher: Mrs Heath

Year 3

Hello and welcome to the Year 3 Information Page. My name is Mrs Heath and I have the pleasure in teaching the Year 3 children. I am also the deputy head at school, so you often might find me on the door or running round helping Miss Hedges.  Year 3 is a great year to teach!  Its the year where the children move up to the Juniors and become much more grown up!!!!

In Year 3 we are very lucky to have Mrs Mason as our TA. We also have Miss Cuppitt till the end of January who is a trainee teacher.

On Thursday, at the moment, Mrs Spence works in Year 3 and will be responsibly for the teaching of the children on this day.

A few things to remember!

PE is on a Tuesday and Friday.  The children must have trainers or pumps too on both days.

Spelling Test is on a Wednesday.  The children will receive their new spellings after the test.  We write them down in our books.

Friday is Times tables and Mental Maths.

It is essential that you continue to read as often as possible with your child at home too.  Please sign and date the record book when you do.  The expectation is that you read at least 3-4 times a week.  Every  night would be much better!

Can I also remind you about the Seesaw app.  Most parents have logged in and are getting updates about what we are doing in class direct to their phone, tablet or ipad.  If you need any help regarding this, please ask me.

Any problems please do not hesitate to get in touch.  At present the best way to contact me is via seesaw or a call to school.

Kind regards,

Mrs Heath
