Homework is an additonal aspect of independent learning to be acrried out at home.
The expectation is that as an absolute minimum, children read to an adult 3 times per week.
As well as this, they will receive spellings to learn and a maths activity.
It is so important that as parents/carers, you engage with homework alongside your child so that you are able to encourage their independent skills and also be active partners in their current learning.
