Nursery Consultation

Dear all

Following a positive response to our market research with our families and local community, the governors of Crow Orchard Primary School are now consulting to set up Governor led nursery provision.  Our proposal is to provide Governor led nursery provision for 2, 3 and 4 year olds from September 2025.

The proposed provision will run under Section 27 of the Education Act.  The Governing Body will use it’s community facility powers enabling us to provide any charitable purpose (such as early education) for the benefit of families of pupils at our school, or families who live or work in the locality of our school.

We intend to offer morning and afternoon sessions ( with the option to stay for school lunch) to mirror the school day. The provision will be over seen by our Early Years Teacher.  The proposal is to create 21 places ( including 5 NEW places for 2 year olds).

At Crow Orchard we presently offer provision for 3-11 year olds and many of our families have asked for provision to extend to 2 year olds over the last couple of years.  Our nursery is a warm and nurturing place where you can be guaranteed the warmest of welcomes.  As a smaller than average sized provision, our highly trained, dedicated team offer care that truly meets the needs of each individual child.
